Accessibility

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for the web product. This is a target, not a certification: we haven’t completed an independent audit, and we don’t claim full conformance.

• Semantic page structure with landmarks, headings and a skip link.
• Keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator.
• Labelled form fields and controls.
• Colour contrast designed to meet AA in light and dark themes.
• Reduced motion when your system asks for it.
• Captions during rehearsal and exportable transcripts.
• Touch targets sized for comfortable use.

• Type your answers instead of speaking them.
• Longer response windows.
• Interruptions switched off completely.
• Manual slide advancement.
• Speech-rate accommodation, and exclusion of delivery metrics that aren’t reliable for you.
• No penalties for accent, stutter, disability or communication style.

Before launch and after major changes, we plan to test:

• keyboard-only journeys through sign-in, creation, editing, rehearsal, export and billing;
• screen-reader passes with NVDA and VoiceOver;
• automated checks for contrast, names and roles on every public page;
• 200% zoom and 320px-wide reflow;
• accessible timing controls in rehearsal;
• accessibility tagging in exported PDFs, which we test separately.

• Direct drag-and-resize on the slide canvas is pointer-based; keyboard alternatives for positioning and sizing are still being verified.
• Exported PDFs are not yet verified as tagged, accessible PDFs.
• Live captions depend on speech-recognition accuracy, which varies by speaker and audio conditions.
• English is the only fully evaluated rehearsal language.
