Draft pending counsel review — last updated 2026-09-29. This is a working draft published for transparency. It is not final legal advice and will change after review.

Terms of service

These terms govern your use of SlideDeck at slidedeck.my. Please read them together with the privacy notice and the billing policy.

1. Who we are

SlideDeck is made by Sansavision, a subdivision of Sansa Group AB. The contracting entity is Sansa Group AB, organisation number 559111-9507 (“we”, “us”). Registered address: to be confirmed.

Support: support@slidedeck.my. Privacy: privacy@slidedeck.my. Security: security@slidedeck.my.

2. The service

SlideDeck is an AI presentation maker and practice coach. It helps you build a presentation from a brief and sources, links claims to evidence, writes a script that matches your slides, lets you rehearse aloud with source-grounded questions, suggests repairs and exports files.

The service is private preparation and feedback. It is not an admissions, hiring or official grading system, and practice feedback is not a prediction of any official mark.

Features, supported languages and export formats are described on the site at the time you use them. Where a format or feature has known limits, we state them before you rely on it, including in each export’s compatibility report.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with a one-time link or code sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure.
  • Self-service accounts are for people aged 16 or over, subject to country-specific review. Choosing a school-level audience for content does not change this.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at security@slidedeck.my if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • The free preview is available once per verified account. Creating accounts to obtain repeated previews is not permitted.

4. Your content and output

You keep your rights in the material you upload: documents, notes, rubrics, recordings and other sources. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that material only as needed to provide the service to you, including sending it to the providers listed on the subprocessors page for the features you use.

Subject to these terms, third-party rights and applicable model terms, you may use the slides, scripts, questions, narration and exports generated for you. Images, fonts and other assets may carry their own licence and attribution requirements, which we record and show where they apply.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. A source being publicly readable does not by itself permit reproducing it in full; a link, a permitted excerpt, a citation and a full-text copy are different uses.

We do not train models on your private content, and we do not opt you in to provider training.

5. AI limitations

  • AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Review it before you present or submit it.
  • Claims are labelled with an evidence state (for example supported, partially supported, unsupported or illustrative). A “supported” label means the inspected evidence supports the bounded claim; it is not a guarantee that the claim is true.
  • Generated voices are synthetic. We do not clone voices.
  • We do not certify any text as human-written, and we do not help evade AI detectors or hide AI use where disclosure is required.
  • Follow your institution’s or employer’s rules on AI assistance. Where required, you can export an AI-assistance and source-process statement.

See AI transparency for the models we use and how.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use SlideDeck to:

  • obtain covert live-answer assistance during an exam or assessment where that is not allowed;
  • record or process another person’s voice without the permissions required by law;
  • upload material you have no right to use, or distribute others’ material beyond what its licence allows;
  • create unlawful, defamatory, harassing or deceptive content, or present generated imagery as evidence of a real event;
  • attempt to access other users’ data, probe or bypass security or rate limits, or use the service to reach internal networks;
  • embed malicious code or macros in uploads, or attempt prompt injection against other users;
  • resell or systematically scrape the service, or abuse the free preview.

Report rights or abuse concerns to support@slidedeck.my.

8. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live, including rights relating to withdrawal, refunds, and remedies for digital content or services that do not conform to what was promised. The specific rights that apply in each country are subject to counsel review.

9. Sharing

Presentations are private by default. If you share, you share a specific version, for viewing or commenting, with private sources filtered according to the source policy. You can revoke a link at any time. You are responsible for what you choose to share.

10. Termination

  • You can stop using SlideDeck at any time, cancel a subscription from your account page, and delete your account.
  • We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to export your content first.
  • After paid access ends, projects remain available to read and export for 12 months, up to 500 MB per account, as described in the billing policy. Files you have already exported remain yours.

11. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on AI output you did not review. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Specific limits are subject to counsel review.

12. Changes and governing law

We will give notice of material changes to these terms before they take effect. Price or allowance changes never shorten something you have already bought. Governing law and venue: to be confirmed by counsel, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
