Every figure has a paper trail.

Each number on a slide links to the rows, page or passage it came from, and calculations show their inputs and formula. When a source changes, the slides, notes and answers that relied on it are flagged instead of quietly going stale.

Seminar/stakeholder mode asks about assumptions, evidence and implications; challenge mode follows up harder, still respectfully. Questions come from your own claims, so you practise the ones that are actually coming.

Questions, answered plainly

Can I work on a deck I already have?
Yes. Import a PPTX or PDF; your original is kept untouched. SlideDeck reports anything it couldn’t extract, checks the claims against your sources, adds notes if you ask, and prepares questions for rehearsal.
Are the PowerPoint files really editable?
Yes: native text and shapes, supported charts and tables as native objects, images and speaker notes. Each export includes a compatibility report. Advanced animation, arbitrary slide masters and embedded objects from imported files may not round-trip, and the report says so.
What stops an AI edit from changing things I didn’t ask for?
Every AI edit has an explicit scope: a selection, a slide, a section or the whole presentation, defaulting to the smallest. You see the proposed change and what it affects before applying it. Locked numbers and citations can’t be overridden by a request to “make it more persuasive”.
What happens to confidential material?
Projects are private. Shares are specific versions, view or comment only, with private sources filtered out, and links you can revoke. Your content isn’t used to train models, and recordings aren’t saved unless you opt in.
Can I use my company’s fonts and colours?
You can set brand colours and fonts for a project. Where a font isn’t available in an export target, the compatibility report names the substitute.
